Homecoming Tour, a great success!

A coach full of Highland Coo enthusiasts from all over the world made the most of our Homecoming tour in October 2010. Visitors from Estonia, Denmark, U.S.A, Australia, New Zealand, Finland and France enjoyed a tour of several club members folds and tourist attractions in Highlands and Grampian( see the full list in an earlier post). Many a dram was enjoyed and lasting friendships made. Click on the picture below to see a few images taken by the visitors during their visit. Visit to WJ & J Green, Corskie

This summer the club was lucky enough to visit the Corskie Pedigree Simmental Herd at Garmouth. We would like to thank the Green's at Corskie for their wonderful hospitality. Click on the image below to see some photos taken on the day.

HOMECOMING TOUR 2010 MON 4th OCTOBER- FRI 8th OCTOBER 2010

This year our North club have organised a tour of some of our members' folds and Scottish attractions to tie in with the 2010 International Highland Gathering. It would be great if you could join us.

Collecting in Glasgow and Stirling the 5 Day coach tour will visit the following Folds:

Heatherhills, Glenlivet

Culfoich, Grantown on Spey

Iomroll, Dunphail

Richmondhill, Peterhead

Kynedor, Banff

Tordarroch & Cullen, Inverness

Visitors will also be able to enjoy an excellent show of cattle at our annual club show.

The tour will also make stops at some excellent Scottish tourist attractions:

Glenlivet Whiskey Distillery & Visitor Centre

Brodie Country Fayre

The Castle of Mey, former residence of the Queen Mother

Royal Dornoch

Baxters Visitor Centre

Seagate Gallery, Peterhead

The journey between these fantastic visits will let you see some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Who knows maybe you will spot the monster as you pass the famous Loch Ness!
